Sunday 19th October at 3pm

The Revd James Laurence William Scott will be licensed as Rector of Whickham and Swalwell at Whickham St Mary by The Rt Revd Sarah Clark, Bishop of Jarrow and 'Acting' Bishop of Durham, with the Venerable Katherine Bagnall in attendance. Refreshments after the service will be served in the centre. Everyone is welcome.

We would just like to say a massive thank you to those that came and helped us clean the church. We've cleaned the carpets, polished the brass, cleaned the windows and polished the pews. The church looks and smells wonderful. THANK YOU!!!

Gateshead West Deanery Confirmation

Confirmation classes for young people (aged 13+years) to explore life, faith and purpose. Classes will be held at 5:30pm on Mondays at St Cuthberts Church, Blaydon.

Confirmation service will be held on Saturday 18th October at 6pm at Holy Spirit Church, Crawcrook.
